Welcome to Cushla and Co, founded by Cushla, a wife and mother of three adult children, with a simple but powerful mission: to create a cleaning and organization service that truly understands the challenges of a busy home. After eight successful years running HomeMaid Services in Taranaki, Cushla felt it was time to evolve. In April 2025, she launched Cushla and Co with a renewed focus on not just cleaning, but on overall well-being within your home.

Your first cleaning is an intensive top-to-bottom service that sets the stage for ongoing weekly or bi-weekly appointments. This initial visit takes about twice as long, leaving your home sparkling clean and inviting.

Follow-up appointments are priced based on your home's size and custom services, ensuring all tasks from your first cleaning are included. After your first visit, we’ll finalize your personalized cleaning plan and recurring service prices.

Sometimes, you just need that extra help with your tenants—and we are here for you!

Have the rent paid directly to you, and pay for our services only when you need them. Save thousands while ensuring that you and your property are well taken care of.

We offer one-off or regular inspections for homeowners or farm owners, scheduled at your convenience. We will contact the tenant directly to arrange the inspection.

You will receive a detailed inspection report along with photos of the floors, walls, and ceilings. We also test smoke alarms to ensure compliance with the Tenancy Act.

Additionally, we can organize maintenance for your property.

Yes, we will allocate you a recurring spot in our schedule with the same cleaner each time. If there are any changes to your booking, we will let you know

We will bring everything we need except for a toilet brush and toilet cleaner. Please have these available at each toilet to be cleaned.

Nope, we have trusted staff who are trained to be in your home unsupervised. If you are home, that’s OK too! We love to meet our clients.

After your service is completed, an invoice will be emailed to you, payment is due on the day of your service via bank deposit or credit card.

Our products are all natural and biodegradable, safe to use with all septic systems.
